Virtual classroom in Villaflora of Manduriacu
The Virtual Classroom he was born in August of 2020, as an initiative for children and adolescents of the commune Villaflora of Manduriacu Large, they can continue with their education in a virtual way, interrupted by the pandemic of Covid-19. Thanks to the joint work with the leaders of the community and the Education District of the Area Cotacachi, we enable part of the facilities of the School, November 23, and equip this space with technology to improve the conditions of education of the children and youth of the community.

This space is equipped with ten computers, desks, chairs and free internet (non-existent up until that moment, in this population), along with a service of copies and prints, and mainly a community person in charge of the project, which oversees and supports the development of the tasks and ensures the proper use of the technology.
Although it has overcome the pandemic of COVID-19, this project is still running. The classroom is used today as a center of training targeted to the population
adult and children, with the objective of conserving biodiversity and understanding the issues related to hunting, deforestation, expansion of the agricultural frontier agriculture, mining, identification of amphibians and reptiles along with the prevention of accidents ofídicos. In addition, this space allows you to strengthen the community development trainings such as: development of kokedamas and tissue with fibers of banana, the use of fibers of bamboo, as well as courses in gastronomy and hospitality desk.
